Bachelor of Science in Business / Accounting at University of Phoenix
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting is a degree program offered by the University of Phoenix. This is a four year degree program that can be completed entirely online. Students will learn about all aspects of accounting, including ethics, theory, and problem solving. There is an emphasis on accounting theory and the basics of accounting, in order to achieve a solid foundation. After completing the foundation in general education, students will also study a variety of business-related topics, including management, finance, statistics, economics, and business organization. Students will learn to communicate effectively, particularly in a business setting, both in groups and interpersonal communication. Written and oral communication will be studied. Critical thinking is also stressed.
Upon completion of the Accounting degree program, students will be ready for a job in the exciting and growing field of Accounting. Students will be able to find jobs in a wide variety of areas of the accounting/financial field.
