Corny as it may sound, this is what makes it all worthwhile. Money is nice. But praise is glorious. And appreciation, mana from heaven.
Rodney,
I'd be happy for you to quote anything I say here for whatever marketing purpose you wish. I say that because you offer a very unique and very personal service.
I was impressed by the Questionnaire which started the process rolling. I found it particularly challenging and was very pleased because it made me evaluate my real motives for wanting to do further study.
I expected that a list of Universities would come back by email and that I would then have to do the hard work of researching them.
Far from it! We had numerous emails backwards and forwards whilst you patiently explained the differences between the USA education system and its accreditation mechanisms and the ones I knew in the UK. For me, it was that email discussion that was vital to the end result.
Your attention to my individual needs, however ill expressed by me, gave me a report with the options I needed to finalize my decision. Although originally skeptical, I am your biggest fan.
Thank you so much and I shall let you know how things turn out.
My sincerest best wishes,
Philip H. Bradshaw

Dear Rodney,
Just wanted to let you know that I was fortunate to have had the University of Phoenix accept my degree that is accredited, from the AARTS association. It could be that they combined that with the credits I have from Ursuline College here in Ohio, as well as life experience in order to allow me into the MAEd program.
Whatever the case, I thought you should know and I thank you once again for the devotion you display to help individuals further their education. I have no doubt that through your work you have a great stake in the accomplishments that those who you help go on to make.
Sincerely,
Joseph Kirsch
Dear Rodney and all at DegreeFinders,
Thank you so very much for responding to my e-mail. I had my application filled out and the $4500 check sealed in the return envelope when something told me to pull it from the mail. I did a little more research and came upon your website.
I checked so hard to find some sort of list on degree scams, but because of the possibility of law suits no one is willing to post the list. I fully understand.
Again, thank you so much for the information. I am relieved that I didn't waste my valuable time as well as my family's hard earned money.
I will continue to seek another distance learning institution.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Barb T.
Mom adds:
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
She was very close to mailing her $4500 check to "nomadic university"!
Hi!
I'm a Medical Assistant working full time in a health clinic and a single mother of a two year old. Finding the time to research and think about furthering my education has been difficult for me. There really aren't enough hours in the day.
I know that getting more education is worth my time and effort. But when does a person like myself find the time to go to college? What I needed was a college flexible enough to let me study when I have time.
I sought the advice of Rodney Merrill, a well-known distance degree consultant at DegreeFinders. Rodney asked me a few questions, mostly by e-mail—about my future plans, the kind and quality of education I was looking for, my previous education and work experience. A few days later, he sent me a list of distance learning colleges offering programs I was looking for, ways to contact them, even web page addresses.
He gave me statistics on the individual colleges and even advised me on the best route to getting enrolled.
I finally decided on a college that specialized in health care careers. They accepted all the credits from my previous schooling (just as Mr. Merrill thought they might) and that significantly reduced the time and expense of earning my degree.
I'm now well on my way to obtaining my first degree and reaching my goals.
Mr. Merrill still contacts me from time to time to make sure that I'm satisfied with my program and to see how well I'm doing. I highly recommend him and DegreeFinders counseling services.
Sincerely,
Glenda Helmick
Rodney,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Norwich University at Vermont College offers the degree I am seeking, and I have YOU to thank. I'll begin there this July for a two-week get-to-know-you session.
And without you, it might have taken me, well, I hate to think just how long. If you would like to use me as a reference, I would be more than happy to help you.
Indebtedly yours,
Jeff Kilgore

DegreeFinders was founded in 1996 out of concern for the challenges that the distance learner faced at the time. Issues such as locating and evaluating education institutions offering distance-learning programs, accreditation of those institutions, as well as avoiding the pitfalls of 'diploma mills' were only a few of the concerns of the distance learner at that time.
Today, those concerns (and others) are more important than ever in this technological age. With the advent of the Internet, distance learners – as well as mainstream colleges and universities – have fully embraced the medium. For the first time in history, people can interact in ways that were never before even considered possible. This worldwide acceptance has helped create the perfect environment for the distance learner.
DegreeFinders is proud to provide a fuller spectrum of services and resources for the distance learner. We think you'll agree.
