ICDC College is a private for-profit two-year college that is committed to providing career training to promote success in chosen careers. Its educational objective is to provide students with the essential knowledge and abilities sought out by companies and organizations in the medical and business industries as well as the government and nonprofit areas. The goal of ICDC College is to provide assistance to all students in meeting their professional career goals. It enables all students to immediately begin their career training regardless of previous education. ICDC College also focuses on maintaining a close-knit learning community that is composed of a diverse student population from around the country and the world.

ICDC College focuses on a practical learning approach and all programs incorporate hands-on learning experiences including working with equipment that will be used in future careers. The programs are designed to meet the constantly changing requirements of today’s fast-paced business workplace. ICDC is also committed to providing quality instructors and all faculty members are required to have at least three years experience in their instructional fields and attend regular continuing education programs on professional development and teaching methodology. Faculty and staff members are devoted to providing the highest quality education and level of service.

ICDC College Online offers associate degree and accelerated diploma programs in a variety of areas to students around the country including paralegal, alcohol and drug counseling, medical office management, computerized accounting, and healthcare management. The active online learning environment incorporates theory and work-related situations and is accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The online classrooms provide access to all reading materials, multimedia content, and instructions. Students complete and submit assignments entirely online. Students also participate in online discussions with instructors and fellow classmates. The virtual campus enables students to access various resources such as an online library, writing and research assistance, personal email address, and monthly Life Skills Workshop. The online campus also offers various student services to promote the success of students including personal student advisors who provide guidance to students throughout the duration of the program and offer answers to question and assistance completing assignments. It offers technical support and access to various professional and personal resources. ICDC College Online also offers a Virtual Career Development Office, an online resource that provides additional help with job searching, resume writing, and resource library with access to additional training in various job search and career development areas.

ICDC College values non-classroom experiences and is involved in various community initiatives to raise awareness and increase funding for many different causes including cancer, AIDS, and military support. Students are encouraged to participate in community efforts to supplement their education and help contribute to a global impact.

ICDC College is committed to providing support to students from the very beginning, and upon enrollment a thorough assessment of educational needs is conducted to help students gain an understanding of how to get the most out of their academic program. Other student services include student advising assistance, GED preparation classes, and graduate refresher training. It also offers career services where job developers work directly with students and employers. Job developers assist students with writing resumes, filling out job applications, interviewing techniques, and conducting job searches. The placement office work with graduates to assist with employment and maintains contacts with potential employers seeking qualified graduates. All graduate also have accesses to a complimentary Job Club that conducts workshops on many different topics on how to secure employment.

ICDC College was founded in 1995 as an institution that focused on providing career training in computer areas. Within its first few years of operation, ICDC continuously added additional training programs. It received accreditation in 1999 and continued to expand. Its online campus was launched in 2009. Currently, ICDC College has 7 campuses and its online division.

Credit Earning Options

ICDC College grants credits for coursework completed at another institution and prior experience. Students may earn transfer credit for up to 75% of total credits for a specific program. Credits for previous experience is awarded based on examination of the experience and testing of skills. Students must submit official transcripts, proof of attendance, and other supporting documents.
