“So we’ve seen a lot of different business models out there,” Eric explains, “and we’ve worked with some of the biggest customers in the world, including Airbnb, Salesforce, and just a lot of great clients in general. And we don’t say this to brag.

The reason for saying this is because, well, following certain frameworks we’re able to continually level up over a period of time. The reason why I say ‘level up’ is because I wrote a book called Leveling Up, which is about gamifying life.”

“And, I played a lot of games growing up, and the lens in which I see the world is in levels; I see it as a game, right?” he continues.

“How do you gamify life? How do you gamify business? How do you gamify everything? And I’m telling you, building a business is very much like playing a game. And there are simple mindset shifts you can make starting tomorrow that will make a big impact not only in how you build a business but how you run your life in general. But courses don’t work. Ninety-eight percent of people never finish them.”

Then, Eric, what do you propose as a remedy? I’m curious about how you went from being on the verge of being expelled from college because of poor academic performance to becoming a multimillionaire digital entrepreneur.

In his opinion, reducing distractions and increasing concentration are the first steps to take. Make a point of doing one thing exceptionally well rather than trying to do everything inadequately. Establishing a service business is the second step toward achieving that goal. Consulting, coaching, launching a digital marketing agency, and freelancing are all options for aspiring digital marketing professionals. Why? To get started, you will spend little or nothing.

Leveling Up

Production and delegation through systems are the third and final step. Employing yourself in your company rather than within it Working above the business becomes the goal as you advance in your career.

Pretend you’re in charge of things. Fourth and final step is to stuff the moat with valuable materials. You need something to keep you safe from your competitors. Increase your audience’s size, create a sense of community, and build brand equity. A body of work that cannot be replicated instantly is the goal of any form of social media, including blogging, TikTok, YouTube, podcasts and Twitter.

In the fifth step, you will be supervised by a professional. This is one of the few “hacks” that are available at the time of publication. Boost your progress, avoid errors, and make the road to success a little easier to navigate. It is at this point that Eric makes his offer: Leveling Up School, a six-week acceleration school that will teach you how to start and grow a successful dream business that will allow you to have both financial and time independence.

“If you want the five percent of things that I’m not able to share publicly, this is the program for you,” Eric explains. “This is what I wish I had when I first started in business.”

It will take you from being a complete novice to becoming an accomplished business owner in a matter of months with this curriculum. All that is required is one hour per week from the participant. Lessons are intended to be enjoyable and simple to understand. Templates, systems, and processes will be provided for your convenience. Non-stop inspiration comes not only from Eric’s businesses but also from the superachievers he has met as a result of his podcast and mastermind events.

The cost of Leveling Up School is $997, which is divided into three monthly payments of $497. I’m just concerned that it’s a little too general. If you only have an hour a week, how can you help anyone start and grow any business they desire? What would you need if you wanted to accomplish what you’re attempting with pinpoint accuracy?
